    Dr. Moinoddin G is a Director – Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery at Manipal Hospital Millers Road, Bangalore. With over 13+ years of expertise as a specialist bariatric surgeon and laparoscopic surgeon , he is renowned for his specialization in minimally invasive Bariatric, Metabolic, and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeries. Dr. Moinoddin holds an MBBS and MS in General Surgery, along with fellowships in Minimally Access Surgery, Robotic and Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery, and Bariatric Surgery. To further refine his skills, he has undergone extensive training at leading centers around the world. In Mumbai, he trained under world-renowned bariatric surgeon Dr. Muffazal Lakdawala at a high-volume bariatric surgery center, actively participating in around 1000+ bariatric and advanced laparoscopic procedures. He further honed his expertise in Gujarat under Dr. Mahendra Narwaria and Dr. Sanjay Patolia at an exclusive Bariatric and Diabetic Center.

    His international training includes Advanced Bariatric Surgical training under Dr. C.K. Huang in Taiwan, Robotic and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery training under Dr. Seon Hahn Kim at Korea University, Seoul, and complex gastric bypass and revision bariatric surgery training under Dr. Bruno Dillemans in Belgium. He also completed his Minimal Access Surgery training at the prestigious Saifee Hospital in Mumbai, affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences. Dr. Moinoddin is credited with introducing Single-Incision Sleeve Gastrectomy in Karnataka and has been honoured twice with the Times Excellence Award for his contributions to bariatric surgery. His areas of expertise include Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy, Laparoscopic Mini Gastric Bypass, Laparoscopic Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass, and Gastric Balloon procedures, all performed with exceptional safety standards and one of the lowest complication rates.
